Recently a group of my neighbors and I where out walking out dogs in the morning and on a rare occasion we all landed up at the same corner in the neighborhood. School started so I guess every one's schedule has switched to school mode. Normally walking my dogs is boring and entail lots of commands telling them to slow down. Well anyway we started talking about what each of us had for TV service. It was my turn to boast a little. We just switched to Verizon Fios. Ive been using Verizon High Speed Internet for about 3 years and love it. I am able to multitask my blogs and e-commerce sites with no problem. My family and extended family all have major issues with cable. Its a ripe off. For basic cable which is only channels 2 - 21 is like $45.00 and for expanded basic the cost is over $65.00 and that just adds a additional channels 21 - 65. More than half of these channels are useless for most of us, but we need to have the expanded basic in order to get the Weather Channel. We have to have the Weather Channel here on the coast and cable knows it. Almost everyone you talked to is switching to something besides cable TV.
